BAKER UNVEILS EASE INTO COMFORT™ UPHOLSTERY PROGRAM
Baker Expands Longstanding Upholstery Collection with Ergonomically Tailored Designs

CHICAGO (April 25, 2009) - Baker, a premier manufacturer and designer of fine furniture, unveiled Ease Into Comfort Upholstery Program, a series of forms thoughtfully engineered in an ergonomically supportive design. Baker offers five traditional and contemporary suites comprised of complementing sofa, chair, and ottoman. Employing the same fine craftsmanship and exceptional comfort for which Baker is known, Ease Into Comfort is designed with an increased, seat height and a shallower back depth than that of Baker standard upholstery for supportive, comfortable seating options.

The Ease Into Comfort designs were selected based upon the Baker 7000 Series custom program's most popular-selling forms. The series is competitively priced and offers a range of options to complement any décor. Currently, Baker has introduced an English Arm with exposed turned maple wood legs, a Lawson Arm with skirt, the Tuxedo Arm with skirt, the California Arm with slightly tapered block feet, or High Arm with small square block feet to the collection with plans on expanding the program in 2010.

All sofas come standard in a three seat cushions and three back cushion design and two 16x16 throw pillows. To accommodate individual tastes, Ease Into Comfort offer a choice of three different quality cushions:

  • Spring Down: A 100% blend of 25% down / 75% feather
  • Comfort Down: A 50% blend of 25% down / 75% feather and 50% polyester fiber
  • Poly Dacron: A 100% polyester fiber, non-allergenic fill

Ease Into Comfort can be customized in any of the Baker 22 standard finish options. As in all Baker upholstery, customers can select any of the over 1,600 Baker fabrics or any Ease Into Comfort piece can be upholstered in customer's own material (COM).
